Regcure, created by ParetoLogic is a widely used registry cleaner program in the market. You will find loads of registry cleaner software on the internet but as you test them it becomes obvious that not every piece of software does what it claims to do. It is a matter of your computer, and the registry is such a precious portion of it. You would not want to have your computer crash ever so often. You would not want to spend time getting the computer back on its feet; you might as well spend that time using the computer. Here is a review of Regcure. Regcure Software Interface: We logged on to ParetoLogic’s website and downloaded Regcure. The only way to get this software is by downloading it from the website. The download is fast as the file is not too big. Once the software was installed on the Thinkpad we were all set to go. The software creators have made the interface appear pleasant. ‘Smooth’ is the word that first flashed in my mind. It has big buttons, and the layout with its easy-to-read information makes it very convenient, especially for users who are relatively new to computers, to understand how to use the software and to navigate. Regcure Scan: As the name suggests, the Scan feature scans your computer for errors, which are then cleaned up. When we ran the scan, a total of 634 errors were found. Each of those errors was successfully cleaned. We next ran the “Manage Startup” utility available on the software. Oftentimes, when software are installed, they offer the option of launching themselves while the computer boots up. While this feature of the operating system can be an advantage, it can also eat into a computer’s resources. What the “Manage Startup” utility does is manage the startup process of the computer. You can disable the automatic launch of software that you don’t consider important. Regcure Results: Here are the results of the performance of the Thinkpad after Regcure was run on it. The startup time reduced from about 4minutes to about 2 minutes. That is a huge difference. The computer has not slowed down or stopped or crashed ever since. The error messages that would pop up every now and then have now completely vanished. Regcure Features: Here you would find the features that you can use with Regcure.

The Custom Scans on Regcure gives the more advanced users flexibility in that they can be selective while scanning their computer. You could scan for just the program shortcuts or the uninstall entries, for example. Sometimes, it is quite possible that you have removed a program by error and you want to have that in place as before. This can be quite a task if you have to search for the removed item. Fortunately, the Backup and Restore feature resolves your problem. It allows you to rollback the changes that you made last and revert to the earlier setup on your computer. The Scan feature of Regcure is available as a free download. You can test the program before you decide to purchase it. If you encounter 300 or more errors as a result of the free scan, it is advisable that you purchase the full version. The cost of the product will be easy on your wallet, especially when you consider the benefits that it can give your computer and the peace of mind that you would experience with a system that does not slow down and/or crash-up often.
